Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon with the FSU Children's Literature Center! We are excited to host a Kids Craft, a special event that will ignite your child's imagination and creativity. Here's what we have planned:

Story Time:
We will kick off the event with a captivating reading of Bird Show by Susan Stockdale. This beautifully illustrated book showcases a variety of birds in a colorful and engaging way. We'll bring a copy of the book with us, so your child can follow along and immerse themselves in the wonderful world of birds.

Craft Activities:
After the story, it's time for some hands-on fun! Kids will get to make their very own paper plate bird, using vibrant materials to bring their feathered friend to life. We'll also guide them through the art of origami, where they'll create a delicate and charming origami bird.

Bonus Activity - Lego Communicator:
If time allows, we'll also have a special Lego Communicator activity. This engaging exercise is designed to teach and enhance listening skills in a fun and interactive way.
