Artificial Intelligence is showing up in homes, classrooms, and in the hands of children. This session explains what AI is in plain language, highlights its benefits and risks, and shares practical tips for families on using AI ethically and wisely. Participants will learn:

  • How AI works and where it appears in everyday life
  • The "superpowers" and pitfalls of common AI tools
  • Simple family rules and privacy tips to keep kids safe
  • Maryland’s latest privacy laws that protect children
  • Strategies for open conversations and family tech plans
