The TRANSFORM 2040 program is an FSU/ACM collaboration to bring the community together for an evening of hope, beginning with the screening of a documentary, 2040. The film has been described as a "story of hope" and an "exercise in fact-based dreaming," It is both serious and playful - a film appropriate and wonderfully engaging for all ages.

The director is viewing the world through the eyes of his 4-year-old daughter, with concern for the world she will inherit. But he offers a different vision -- one that results in a global search for effective solutions that are now reversing global warming and, if widely adopted, could improve our quality of life by 2040. Following the screening, we will be inviting attendees to share their visions of 2040 for the University, for the area, and for the world.
