Clear your library fines while helping animals in need! During the month of October, donate unopened dry or canned pet food items directly to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, then, bring your donation voucher to any Allegany County Library System branch to redeem. We’ll waive a portion of your fines. It’s a great way to give back to the community and take care of your account at the same time!
1lbs of dry food = $1 waived, up to $15
1 can = $1 waived, up to $15
$15 maximum waived per account
Donations may be taken to the Allegany County Animal Shelter at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland, MD 21502
Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED
