Display your artistic talents in our Tiny Pumpkin Art Show!

Showcase your work on a small pumpkin for this fall edition! Register and pick up your pumpkin at an Allegany County Library location. Finished art pieces can be returned to the library to be displayed at the LaVale Library branch for October. All ages are welcome to participate!

Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, return it to any library by Friday, October 14 to be part of the exhibit at the LaVale Branch! The exhibit will run from October 17 - November 4. Patrons can vote on their favorites and winners from each age group will receive a gift card to Mr. Toad's Pottery. 

  • Open to patrons of all ages
  • You use your own paint and supplies
  • Art pieces must be brought to your Library by October 14 to be included in the exhibit
  • Art will be returned to artists after the art show
  • Be sure to include a title for your piece, your name, age, and your contact information so we can return the piece! 
  • Please do not use any canvas (aka pumpkin) other than the one provided
  • You can choose the subject of your artwork, but please keep it family friendly
  • All pumpkins are first come first serve and are until supplies last

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to be attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.
