Why should you plant a tree in the City?

Learn how to plant and care for a tree, and about the benefits of trees in the city of Cumberland with Environmental Specialist, Raquel Ketterman. Each family who attends will receive a tree to plant.

The City of Cumberland has an Urban Tree Canopy program with the goal of increasing the number of trees!  Trees can be planted in a variety of places, since trees come in all shapes and sizes!

Learn about how and where you can Get Rooted in Cumberland and plant a tree to care for and watch grow!  

This event is free and open to the public.
