Help the Allegany County Animal Shelter and have fines forgiven from your library account!

On Thursday, October 21st, all branches of the Allegany County Library System will accept donations of cat food, dog food, and other needed supplies in exchange for library card fines.  LaVale Library is closed for renovations. 

Here's how it works:

Dry dog and cat food=$1.00 per pound of food forgiven, up to $10.00.

3.5 lbs of food=$3.50 forgiven.

10 lbs and bigger, the entire $10.00 forgiven.

Canned dog and cat food/meat baby food=$1.00 per can.
