Celebrate a pivotal moment in American sports history with a free screening of the family-friendly movie The Jackie Robinson Story. This classic film chronicles Robinson's journey as he breaks Major League Baseball's color line in 1947, marking the beginning of desegregation in professional baseball and a major milestone in the civil rights movement. This screening will include a brief introduction and discussion to provide historical context and spark conversation, and refreshments will be provided. All are welcome to attend this special event honoring Jackie Robinson's enduring legacy on and off the field.
