Program Description

Event Details

Do you have a story to share? Do you like to hear stories told? You are invited to take part in a Story Swap at the LaVale Library on Saturday September 28, sponsored by The West Virginia Storytelling Guild.

The story swap will begin at 10 a.m. Participants may share a story among others in an informal, relaxed setting. At 2 pm storytellers will gather again to share stories during a free event open to the public.

(There will be a lunch break at a local restaurant at 12 pm; location to be determined.)

Whether you're a teacher, filmmaker, or in retail, storytelling is a craft that helps you learn how to capture your audience and improve public speaking abilities.

To register or learn more about the event please contact Katie Ross at okross40@gmail.com or at (304) 738-2338. Registration is not mandatory, but is encouraged.

This event is free and open to the public.
