The 2021 FSU Appalachian Festival is back in-person!

To kick off the Film Festival on Sept 16th at 7pm the Frostburg Palace Theatre will be showing “The Mountain Minor.” Hang out after for a discussion with the filmmaker!

On Friday the 17th Symposium, “The Push and Pull of Appalachia” will begin at 1pm in FSU’s Upper Quad.

Saturday the 18th we will be back in the quad with two music stages, Appalachian foods, artisans, workshops, children’s activities and so much more! 10am-6pm.

To wind down the weekend head over to the Palace Theatre at 7:30pm Saturday night for our capstone concert with The Honey Dewdrops, presented by CES
