All locations of the Allegany County Library System have rooms available for community use. Community rooms include large Meeting Rooms and smaller Study Rooms and may be reserved by non-profit, service, and community groups, organizations, or individuals.
Unless reserved for a scheduled activity, Community Rooms are available for use on a “first-come-first-served” basis during normal operating hours. Please see our Community Room Use Policy for full details.
For instructions on how to reserve a room, see our “how to” page. Please contact the library you are interested in visiting for details about room accommodations.
Important Reservation Information:
- Online room reservations must be made at least one day in advance to allow staff adequate time to review and approve requests.
- Same-day reservations may still be made by calling or visiting the library directly. Staff will advise you on the room's availability.
- All room reservations are published on the library's event calendar.
- If groups or individuals are 30 minutes or more late for room reservations, rooms may be forfeited to walk-in requests.
If interested in partnering with the library for event promotion or in another capacity , please visit our Program Proposal webpage.
