This presentation will focus on the tips related to finding common ground in eating and eating for longevity and brain health as well as setting SMART goals to help achieve success in sticking with goals. Theresa will also demonstrate an interactive mindful eating practice with chocolate (just in time for Valentine's Day).

This event will be followed by a community book discussion on I’m Full: Remindful Eating Tips to Feel Great and Make Peace with your Plate that will take place on March 18 at the Frostburg Library. 


Theresa Yosuico Stahl, RDN, LDN, FAND is passionate about helping people live full and satisfying lives. She has been promoting food as medicine for 4 decades. She completed certification and is a supervisor with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Theresa is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

As a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist and consultant, she provides nutrition counseling with the Allegany County Health Department’s WIC program and teaches with Allegany College of Maryland’s Center for Continuing Education. Last year, she published her first book, I’m Full: Remindful Eating Tips to Feel Great and Make Peace with your Plate.

Theresa serves as vice-chair of the Western Maryland Food Council and is a member of the Maryland Food System Resiliency Council. She enjoys speaking and writing on a variety of nutrition and wellness topics. Learn more about Theresa at www.RemindfulEating.com.
