Join us for our first Creative Reuse Arts & Crafts Supply exchange at Frostburg Library. We will collect items in several categories with the goal of keeping scraps and other reusable materials out of the landfill and get them into the hands of teachers, childcare staff, homeschooling parents, seniors and beyond!
The following categories of items will be collected:
- Art supplies (crayons, colored pencils, NO markers, please)
- Buttons, sequins, stickers & stencils
- Small items or toys for teacher prize boxes
- Storage bins and baskets
- Paper (colorful, scrapbook, magazines, etc...)
- Fiber (yarn, fabric, thread, string)
- Non-sharp tools (glue guns, hole punches, etc...)
We will also take requests for 'creative reuse' items, like large cardboard tubes or giant boxes, or whatever you can dream up!
Drop off items any time during our open hours at either Frostburg Library (65 E Main St.) or the Frostburg First Office (41 E Main St.) before Saturday, September 27th.
The day of the event, come back and select new to you items between 11AM and 4 PM at Frostburg Library.
