Program Description

Event Details

A snack-based cooking demonstration will be led by Theresa Stahl, local author of I'm Full: Remindful Eating Tips to Feel Great and Make Peace with Your Plate, as the annual leader-in-residence.  Co-sponsored by the Leadership Studies program and Wholesome Harvest Co-op. The discussion will be hosted and facilitated by FSU's Communication Leadership Lab and students from the CMST 310 Civic Communication class.  Due to limited space, please RSVP to elruminski@frostburg.edu.

The Allegany County chapter of Choose Civility will celebrate the first "Month of Civility," because we can't fit it all into one day anymore!   The Allegany County chapter of Choose Civility was initiated by the Allegany County Library System, the Women’s Action Coalition of Greater Allegany County, and the 2018 class of Leadership Allegany. Choose Civility: Allegany County is a community-wide initiative to position the county as a model of civility by promoting civil conversations and kindness toward others.
