The Lawyers in the Library program is a free information and referral program held online in Zoom meetings and staffed by volunteer lawyers.

This session's focus will be on Bankruptcy.

Lawyer in the Library is a partnership that provides opportunities for library users to meet with local attorney’s to seek legal advice. In partnership with the Allegany Law Foundation it provides a safe space for community members to see legal advice free of charge.

The Zoom edition of Lawyer in the Library will be held monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of October, November and December from 1PM to 2PM.  The library host will use the Breakout Room feature in Zoom to queue up the participants and ensure each participant has a private session with the attorney.  Meeting with the Attorney will be on a first come first served basis.  Because of the limited time of the attorney’s availability, we may not fully resolve every matter.
