Event Details

Work hands-on with Rocky Gap State Park Rangers to create Bird feeder suet ornaments to take home while also learning about the different kinds of backyard birds that live in Maryland during winter, how to identify local birds, the importance of choosing the correct birdseed, and more.   At the same time, we invite families to participate in a variety of bird themed activities like indoor bird watching, coloring pages, and bird bingo. 

 

A list of ingredients that will be used in this craft is available upon request; if you have any concerns about allergies please feel free to reach out.  

 

This is an all ages event, and we encourage all patrons to participate.
