Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a welcoming and supportive book club for anyone touched by addiction or in recovery—whether directly, through family, friends, or community. Each month, we’ll read and discuss books that explore themes of resilience, hope, healing, and personal growth. Together, we’ll share our unique perspectives, find inspiration in powerful stories, and connect with others on their recovery journey. The group will be facilitated by trained addictions professional, Jenna Duckworth, Community Outreach Coordinator with Concerted Care Group of Frederick.

No formal recovery program participation is required—just an open mind and respect for each other’s experiences. Dinner will be provided.

When: 4th Tuesday of the Month
Where: LaVale Library
Next Book: "Beautiful Boy" by David Sheff

Registration Optional: Register online or ask a library staff member for help!
