Read-a-long with Miss Kate as she reads a chapter of Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo every week night in February.  This Newbery favorite of Kate's is about ten-year-old India Opal Buloni and her first summer in the town of Naomi, Florida, and all the good things that happen to her because of her big ugly dog Winn-Dixie.

 

Miss Kate uses a special camera that will allow you to follow along the page as she reads out loud. This goodnight story is perfect for those learning to read and sharpening their reading skills in the early and middle elementary grades.  This program will also be great for anyone that wants to listen and enjoy a great story! 

 

A new chapter is posted to the library's Facebook page and YouTube channel weeknights at 7:00 PM.
