Program Description

Event Details

Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad is a step-by-step guide targeted at white readers to self-reflect in the ways one has participated in white supremacy, especially in unconscious ways.

The book is formatted as 28 daily prompts, which can be done on their own. This event will focus on a small handful of the prompts from various chapters which will be posted ahead of time.

Join us each week as we journal through some of the prompts together. Discussion & participation is not required, though it is welcomed. This will be a time to reflect, read, write, and provide an opportunity to be united in this anti-racist journey. This will require you to be vulnerable and open to change. Registration required to receive the Zoom information.

The book is available in print through the library here

Also in eBook and eAudio on Hoopla.

Prompts are within the book, how you choose to journal your thoughts is up to you. We recommend written in a notebook or typed in a word document.

“If you are willing to dare to look white supremacy right in the eye and see yourself reflected back, you are going to become better equipped to dismantle it within yourself and within your communities.”― Layla F. Saad
